One of the most challenging courses in Myrtle Beach is the beautiful Myrtle Beach National West Course.

From the regular tees, golfers of all abilities will enjoy the classic Arnold Palmer design, ranked 4.5 STARS in 2010 by Golf Digest’s “Places to Play”. But be prepared for a professional challenge from the back tees as the numerous doglegs, fairway bunkers and natural hazards come into play. Winding through a forest of stately pines in an undeveloped setting, the West Course features MiniVerde Ultradwarf greens and offers golfers the feel of a private club.

    It's a very open course that forgives if you hit a slice or hook. The pace of play was excellent and never had to wait for a hole to open during the entire 18 holes and only lost two balls. It seem liked the course took quite a bit of rain recently as some of the fairways were wet and some mud had been dragged on a few of the holes. I felt it was a fair price for the round of golf.

    Me and my wife enjoyed everything about our experience at Myrtle Beach National - West course. From the time we pulled up the staff quickly and courteously unloaded our bags and on to a cart. We recognized the professionalism of this course, they certainly do the volume and handle it very well. Everyone from the clubhouse staff to the starters were extra friendly. The course is in excellent shape and the ground keepers are seen hard at work while you're out there playing. I would recommend this course as one to play when you're in Myrtle Beach.

    Loved my day at MBN! Course was beautiful and fun. The people were very friendly. The only slight drawback was the snack bar. Very busy, and not much selection. We will make this course an annual stop on your trip for sure!

    Boys day out with my sons and they thought the fairways and greens were in good shape overall.
