Arthur Hill’s redesign of the Myrtlewood PineHills course was so dramatic it immediately transformed it into one of the most popular spots for local Strand residents. The course was nominated for Golf Digest’s 1994 “Best New Resort Course” and has developed a reputation as one of the best kept courses on the Grand Strand. PineHills measures 6640 yards from the back tees and features Sunday Ultra-Dwarf Bermuda Grass greens.

Very nice course and friendly staff

They had us start on the back nine. It took 2 hours and 50 minutes to play just the back nine. Took a look at the back up on the first hole and decided we had enough.

Course in great shape, fun layout, every hole is different. Pace of play was less than 4:20...very enjoyable day with good friends

Do NOT play here on weekend mornings. We were told they double teed and would have to wait upon arriving at Hope 10 - itself an unacceptable idea. Upon arriving at 10, we were told that a twosome playing nine holes was being put in front of us. We waited about an hour between finishing 9 and teeing off on 10. Will certainly not be returning unless they change their tee time policy. It is not normal no matter how many times they say we told you youd have to wait. Course is in good shape, layout just ok. Palmetto course is better.
