Opened in February 2008, The Founders Club at Pawleys Island offers guests a unique experience in the Pawleys Island area with 18 uniquely designed golf holes. Built on the former sight of Sea Gull Golf Club, our guests come away with remembering not only their best shot, but every shot. A Thomas Walker design that offers stuffing visuals, as well as isolated teeing areas, will give our golfers something special to remember. Once your experience has concluded, a new Lowcountry-style clubhouse with a wrap-around porch awaits you for a relaxing meal in our dining or meeting facilities, over looking the beauty of the 18th Hole.

    The club was very nice. The Golf Pro in the shop greeted us and had everything ready to go.

    Staff was friendly. Practice area was less than expected. Just a hitting screen, no range. Grass around the greens was sparse, mainly hard dirt and sand. Did get to see 4 gators, that was the highlight of the round!

    Its been years since I played here last and it was my first round after arriving after a three day drive the day before. Great place to start as its pretty forgiving off the tee! Overall course conditions were reasonable for a brisk early February day and what appears to have been a fairly wet recent few days. Fairways provided firm tight lies, the rough was dormant and thin, the greens held decent shots and putted fairly smooth. The inside staff was friendly and helpful and the outside staff taking care of the numerous waste areas was very respectful actually shutting off the grooming machine while hitting a tee shot on a par 3. Overall a great start to a six week stay - Ill be back!

    Great place to play in excellent condition. This course tests all aspects of your game but is very fair. Great visuals especially on the par threes. A lot of sand but a majority of the bunkers don't come into play. Greens rolled great

    our group enjoyed playing here we found it to be a little tougher than the courses in the area but still liked it.
