Member News & Updates – March 30th

Hello everyone from Tradition Golf Club. We are experiencing times like no other, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the game you love. Here at Tradition we’ve implemented all safety precautions so you can still enjoy golf and get some fresh air, maybe get away from your spouse or family members. In my opinion, and I might be biased, there’s no better place to play than Tradition Golf Club of course many of you know me and two years ago I would have said Litchfield Country Club. If you haven’t been here recently, let me tell you the course is green as far as the eye can see and our new greens are fantastic!

I get the feeling a lot of people are liking this social distancing stuff—everyone is on their phone most of the day anyway so it gives them a good excuse not to talk to their “buddies”. On behalf of the Founders Group I want to thank you for your continued support of our membership programs and hope that playing golf can give you an escape from what’s going on. Please stay safe and we hope to see you at one of our courses soon!

Here’s what we are doing to ensure your safety at our facilities:
— FGI’s entire staff – inside and outside – are wearing sanitation gloves
— FGI staff will not be handling any golf bags
— Carts are being sanitized right before and immediately following each round
— High-traffic areas and public touch points are being sanitized multiple times per day
— Water coolers have been removed from the course and paper starting tickets have been eliminated
— Players are being encouraged to leave flagsticks in
— Golfers are allowed to walk at courses where it makes sense

On another note– Be on the lookout of take out dining specials at particular clubs
Hopefully the golf course can provide an escape, allowing you to enjoy the game while getting some fresh air and exercise.
